Brive Airport

CityJet to have service between Brive and London City Airport.

Read a review of Brive Airport.

Hello and welcome to the unofficial guide to the Brive Airport. The new Brive Airport is scheduled to open in June 2010. Local press is reporting that the airport is ready to go but as of March 2010 it doesn’t look any low cost airlines are flying to Brive Airport – there are confirmed Air France flights.

The official name of the airport is Aéroport de Brive-Vallée de la Dordogne. It was to be called Aéroport Brive – Souillac and is still called as such on the official airport web site. I’m not sure yet what is the airport code.

Who will be flying to Brive Airport? Air France will have flights between Paris and the new Brive Airport starting in June or July 2010 - according to France3 and Ladépêche. According to DeplacementsPros starting on 25 June CityJet will have service between Brive and London City Airport. With flights 3 times a week Friday through Sunday.

The Brive Airport is located in Nespouls, south of Brive and not far from the A20 Autoroute.

I read a local press report that stated that the airport access road would be opened starting on June 15th so maybe that’s the planned grand opening? Ladépêche cited above states that the airport will have its grand opening on July 9th.
